Bear Essential Oils, Owners Alissa and Cody Assu, embraces Indigenous wisdom and cultural traditions to promote holistic wellness. Alissa, of the Laksamshu Clan from the Witsuwit'en First Nation, draws inspiration from her grandmother and traditional teachings. Cody, of the Ligwiłda’xw (We Wai Kai) and Haida nations, carries on his family's legacy as a skipper. Based on traditional territories in British Columbia, Bear Essential Oils collaborates with Indigenous artist Morgan Asoyuf to create meaningful symbols rooted in Indigenous heritage.
