She launched Kwósel as a desire to connect with her Xwchíyò:m roots. Her business is named in Halq’eméylem, meaning ‘Star.’ Her jewelry and art blends cultural teachings through beadwork and cedar weaving. Featured in exhibitions like ‘Mothers and Matriarchy,’ New York Fashion Week’s ‘Made in Canada,’ and internationally at Paris Fashion Week, Kwósel is broadening its horizons, amplifying the creativity and beauty of Indigenous artistry.
