4 Generations Creations founder, Ashley Michel, a Secwepemc mother from Kamloops, B.C. was inspired by the lack of authentic representation when she started her business in 2018 to create a better future for her daughter and generations to come. Initially focusing on handmade ribbon skirts and beadwork, Ashley has expanded to become a distributor of fabric, beads, and ribbon, supporting other indigenous businesses and artists. Her most notable accomplishment is winning Pow Wow Pitch, showcasing her dedication and success in Indigenous entrepreneurship.
